The Accommodation: The White Swan Inn

The cost for this 4-night event is £925.00 per person based on two people sharing a standard room.

  • Superior Room supplement: £80 per person for the 4 nights.

  • Single Room supplement: £280 per person.

Event Details

Wednesday 14th May

  • Arrive at the White Swan Inn, Pickering.

  • Settle in for four nights of luxury in the heart of North Yorkshire.

  • Enjoy a Welcome Reception to kick off the tour.

Thursday 15th May

  • Train ride to Whitby: Board the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for a scenic journey to Whitby, departing at 9:20 am.

  • Enjoy coffee and pastries on board, arriving in Whitby at 11:30 am with 3.5 hours to explore the historic coastal town.

  • Return to Pickering by train, arriving at 3:30 pm (2025 timetable to be confirmed).

Friday 16th May

  • Classic Car Heaven: Visit the famous Mathewsons Classic Car venue.

  • Drive 30 miles to the Downe Arms at Wykeham for coffee, followed by a scenic drive to Kirkham Priory to explore the ancient ruins.

  • Continue to Scampston Hall and Gardens for lunch, followed by a guided tour of the house and the stunning 13th-century walled gardens.

Saturday 17th May

  • Scenic North Yorkshire Drive: A beautiful drive over the North Yorkshire Moors, with a coffee stop at the Moors National Park Centre at Denby.

  • Continue to the coast for a lunch break in Staithes, then return via a different scenic route, covering around 75 miles for the day.

Sunday 18th May

  • Depart after breakfast and head home after a memorable weekend in Yorkshire.
